"Exploring music as a tool for healing, connection, and emotional expression"
Emily Sclar is a singer, songwriter, and violinist originally from Freeport, Maine, now based in Boston as a student at Berklee College of Music. Majoring in Music Therapy and Performance, Emily’s music comes from a deeply personal and raw emotional place, reflecting her belief in the power of music to heal. With multiple singles already released, she continues to write and record music that resonates with vulnerability and honesty. Her sound defies genre boundaries, blending influences from indie folk, classical, and violin fusion, creating a unique and evolving style that captivates listeners.
From the age of five, Emily has played the violin, and over the years, she has pushed the instrument beyond its classical roots, infusing it into her original compositions and performances. She often incorporates violin solos and intricate string arrangements in her music, allowing her to express her emotions through both her voice and violin, creating a rich, layered storytelling experience.
